BOARD POLICY

The North Sanpete School District shall cooperate when possible with teacher training institutions in the placement of student teachers within the school district.

GUIDELINES

1. If a student teacher/intern is to be placed within the district, prior approval must be obtained by the supervisory teacher, principal and the superintendent.
2. The student teacher/intern will be integrated into the organization of the school and will be assisted to obtain the best possible experience of school life.
3. If compensation is to be paid, the supervising teacher or the intern, prior arrangements must be made in writing through the office of the superintendent.
