BOARD POLICY

The North Sanpete Board of Education recognizes the value of professional organizations and encourages district personnel to become an active part of these groups.

GUIDELINES

1. When an employee is elected to the office of president of a statewide professional organization, the Board of Education may provide reasonable time for the person to fulfill their professional duties. The Board may also provide financial assistance for the employee to attend one conference.
2. Funds must be available to implement this policy.
