ALL STUDENTS CAN LEARN
North Sanpete School District believes that all students can learn. Research demonstrates that students are capable of achieving the essentials of formal schooling when provided sufficient tine and proper direction. North Sanpete School District believes that all children are entitled to personal respect and dignity. Education must be appropriate to the needs of each pupil and to the needs of the community and society in general.

DATA DRIVEN
North Sanpete District Schools are organized and operated according to the best available data on how students learn. The instructional process will be continually re-examined in light of current findings on teaching and learning and changes will be made as are appropriate.

STANDARDS AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES WILL DRIVE INSTRUCTION
North Sanpete District personnel and the Utah State School Board have identified specific behaviors, which are desirable for all students to have when they leave our schools. These outcomes or learning objectives have been and will be shared with teachers, parents, and students. They will be stated prior to units of instruction and will be constantly available to teachers, parents, and students.

SUCCESS DRIVEN
North Sanpete Schools aim to help all students achieve success. Success develops strong self-concept in students. Positive self-image is critical in the learning process. Instructional units will provide opportunities for all students to develop self-esteem by a) providing each student an opportunity for success, b) expecting success, and c) maintaining a positive learning environment.
