Subject: General Maintenance Person

BOARD POLICY

The General Maintenance Person shall be responsible directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. Total responsibility shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

GUIDELINES

1. Responsible for all refurbishing, remodeling, repairs, plumbing, electrical, heating roofing, carpeting, glazing, lock repairs, painting, landscaping, ground work, and all other assignments given, and responsibilities related to buildings and grounds.
2. Due to emergency conditions this person may need to rearrange hours to meet the needs of an emergency situation.
3. Maintain effective communication and feed-back with custodians, principals, supervisor, and district office personnel.
4. Continually be aware of, and decrease, maintenance costs.
5. Perform related duties as required.
