Subject: Time and Effort Requirements

BOARD POLICY

To comply with Uniform Grant Guidance, the District keeps specific documents to demonstrate the amount of time spent by employees funded through federal funds or grants. In addition, documentation will be kept for employees paid from state and local funds whose salaries are used for cost-sharing or matching.

Time and Effort Documentation

1. Employees paid with grant funds or matching funds will complete, sign, and submit to their supervisors a time and effort log.
2. Supervisors will verify the accuracy of logs, sign, and submit to the District Office.
3. Time and effort logs must be completed and submitted to the District Office in a timely manner consistent with program guidance and/or supervisor direction.

ADMINISTRATIVE NOTE: Policy IV-07 was adopted on 12/16/1982 under the title, Community School Coordinator. The policy was removed on 2/21/2023 during Board meeting. The policy number was subsequently re-used under the current title on 6/20/2023.
