BOARD POLICY

One of the goals of the North Sanpete Board of Education is to provide equal educational opportunities for all school pupils within the District. It is the intent of the Board to select available federal aid programs that will help the District to provide better educational opportunities and will help to enrich the programs already provided by state and local funds. Such monies as are obtained from federal sources will be treated as a public trust and will be spent with the same degree of concern and consideration as other monies provided for the educational program.

GUIDELINES

1. The School Board, therefore, encourages its Superintendent and other administrative personnel to keep the Board informed of all possible sources of funds, state, local or federal for the support of the schools.
2. All proposals that are to be submitted to federal and state agencies shall have prior approval from the Board of Education.
