BOARD POLICY

The following administrative policy is set forth for the benefit of Volunteers in the district recognizing that volunteers may not have had previous training and experience in a Public School System.

GUIDELINES

Work that volunteers perform may be extremely confidential and sensitive and failure to maintain confidences may lead to very serious consequences, both for the individual and for the school.

Confidentiality is emphasized and encouraged by the North Sanpete Board of Education. Matters regarding school business are to be kept confidential. Any information obtained by the volunteer while conducting school business is to be kept confidential and not discussed outside the individual school.

KNOWN VIOLATIONS OF THIS CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY MAY RESULT IN THE RELEASE OF SAID VOLUNTEER
