BOARD POLICY

The Board does not require the observance, by the school, of any specific holidays or events other than those specified in the school calendar. It does, however, encourage the administration and the faculty to appropriately observe any special holidays or events that it deems proper.

GUIDELINES

1. No holidays or events will be celebrated by individual classes or part of the student body or the entire student body without prior approval by the principal.
2. Parents may he invited to participate in class or school ceremonies or observances only with prior approval of the principal.
3. Ceremonies and observances shall be scheduled at a time that will not conflict with the arrival of busses in the morning or the arrival and departure of the buses at the close of the school day.
