PTA SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR - BOGO - We are excited to offer the Spring Book Fair as, "Buy One, Get One FREE!" The PTA is sponsoring this Book Fair to help families get new books for their students' summer reading. In a study conducted by Harrison Group and Scholastic they found that, "An overwhelming 92% of kids say they are more likely to finish a book they picked out themselves." We can help. The Book Fair will be open the following times:

Tuesday, May 2   9:45 am - 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Wednesday, May 3   9:45 am - 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Thursday, May 4   9:45 am - 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2017-2018 -  Children who will be five years old on or before September 1, 2017 need to begin the kindergarten registration process today. if you haven't already done so, please call the school today (427-9204) if you have a child or know of a child (neighbor or friend) who is eligible for kindergarten next year. At this point, all we need is the name of our new little Thunderbird along with a mailing address and phone number. We will send a letter sometime around the first week of May explaining Kindergarten screening.

END OF YEAR TESTING - Students in grades K-6 will take the DIBELS Assessment the last week of April. Students in grades 3-6 will take the Utah SAGE Assessment beginning the week of April 25. Testing will continue through May 12. Teachers will send a note home with specific testing days and times as the end of the year draws closer. Please make sure your students are here on those testing days and that they are well rested and well fed each morning. Talk to your students about doing their best. We are excited to see how much our students have progressed and how much they have learned this school year. Please avoid any appointments or family trips during this testing period. Thanks for your support of our amazing students!
