HALLOWEEN PARADE - The big children's Halloween parade starts at 100 South and heads north on State Street in Fairview on Friday, October 30 starting at about 12:30 pm. Please come out and celebrate the children as they show off their costumes. Here are a few things to remember as you help your children prepare for this big event:
•Students should NOT wear their costumes to school. They may get dressed after they finish eating their lunch.
•If parents need to assist their child in getting dressed, please come after 11:45 am. This will give students time to eat prior to getting dressed. And please help us to maintain a semblance of order while they dress.
•Toy knives, swords, guns, or look alike weapons of any kind should NOT be part of the costume.
We thank the many businesses that support this annual event by providing treats for the children. And we thank the families who come out and cheer for the children. Happy Halloween!

STUDENTS' HEALTH - We want all our students to remain healthy as we know that their academic health is dependent upon their physical health. We ask them to wash their hands every time after they use the bathroom and right before they eat. LeeR works diligently to maintain one of the cleanest schools in the state of Utah. Here are some steps you can take to assist us in maintaining the health of all of our students:
1. As important as it is to have your children in school every day, if they have any type of communicable disease, plese keep them home until they have fully recovered. And always be sure to call the school to excue them.
2. Anytime children throw up, they should stay at home for a minimum of 24 hours after the last incident.
3. If you are not sure about whether or not a child is healthy enough to attend school, please see your physician.
4. Continue to teach habits of cleanliness at home -- bathing every day, washing hands, brushing teeth, etc.
THUNDERBIRD PRIDE - Fairview Elementary School students show their pride every day in how they work, how they treat others, and how they learn. Our focus is learning! We know that education is the key to increasing the quality and quantity of our options in life. We take those tiny steps every day as we work towards our "Thunder Dreams." Help your child to show their Thunderbird Pride and in doing so get cloer to achieving their Thunder Dreams!
