Subject: Student Activity Accounts
The Board hereby authorizes the maintenance of a student body account at each of the secondary schools of the district. The principal of the school shall be responsible for the proper administration of the financial activities of each such account in accord with the provisions of state law and appropriate accounting practices. The school district's audit shall include an audit of these accounts as prescribed on a rotating basis - one school each year except when the principal is changing in which that school must be audited in that year. The Clerk shall visit and review the bookkeeping system of each school at least each year and the schools shall submit a copy of the monthly reconcilement to the clerk on a monthly basis.
